Cryotherapy

Our clinic is a centre of expertise for cryotherapy, an evidence-based treatment that uses liquid nitrogen to safely remove damaged or abnormal skin tissue. Commonly used to treat warts, skin tags, seborrhoeic keratoses and sun-damaged skin, cryotherapy is a quick procedure with minimal downtime.

Phlebotomy

We offer a private phlebotomy service in the calm and comfortable surroundings of The Lighthouse Clinic in Newport. Our trained specialists can take blood samples for tests requested by your GP, consultant, or healthcare provider, with specimens safely transported to local laboratories for analysis.

Mole Check

Our private Mole Check service offers expert monitoring for anyone concerned about changes to a mole or skin lesion. Using detailed medical photography and image analysis, we can track changes over time and help identify early signs of skin cancer for added reassurance.

How to Access NHS Services

Get a GP Referral

Visit your GP to discuss your symptoms and request a referral to our NHS services.

Referral Processing

Your GP will submit the referral electronically. We'll receive it within 1-2 working days.

Appointment Letter

You'll receive an appointment letter by post or email within 2 weeks of referral.

Attend Your Appointment

Bring your NHS number, photo ID, and any relevant medical records to your appointment.

Cost

All NHS services are free at the point of care – no charges for consultation or treatment.

Appointment Times

Appointment times are typically 15-30 minutes depending on the nature of the appointment.

Waiting Time

We aim to see you within NHS waiting time standards for your condition.
